Personality
Alaric is a thoughtful and somewhat old-fashioned Bell drake who often seems a little out of place in the modern world. He has an enormous fascination with medieval history, particularly ancient castles, knights and the everyday lives of people who lived centuries ago. Strangely enough, he is equally passionate about dinosaurs and purple socks, although nobody has ever quite figured out why the latter are so important to him. Alaric possesses the remarkable ability to uncover memories from past lives. By gently touching someone with his paw, he can help them experience brief glimpses of who they might have been long before their current existence. These memories can appear as vivid images, forgotten emotions or even familiar places that the person has never visited before. Alaric treats this gift with great care, knowing that some memories are best discovered when someone is truly ready for them. Despite his serious appearance, Alaric has a wonderfully peculiar sense of humour. He enjoys sharing historical facts that nobody asked for, occasionally wonders whether he might have been a dinosaur in a previous life, and firmly believes that every respectable gentleman should own at least one pair of purple socks.
